Refund Policy

Last updated: July 14, 2026

If Transable doesn't work correctly, for example the widget fails to translate your site, a paid plan feature isn't delivered, or you were charged in error, you can request a refund through our support form. This page is a short summary; the full legal terms are in our Terms of Service, Section 9 (Refund Policy).

1. How to Request a Refund

Submit a request through the support form. Include the email address on your account, the payment date, and a short description of what went wrong. We review every request and reply by email.

2. Request Window

Refund requests must be submitted within 14 calendar days of the relevant charge. Unless mandatory consumer law in your jurisdiction requires otherwise, no refund is available after the 14th calendar day, and an approved refund will not exceed 50% of the amount actually paid for the relevant billing period or transaction.

3. What's Covered

  • The Service was materially unavailable or did not work as described for the paid plan you purchased.
  • You were charged in error (duplicate charge, wrong amount, or a charge after a successfully cancelled plan).
  • A one-off paid order (for example a book translation order) was not delivered as agreed.

4. What's Not Covered

  • Plans, credits, or usage you have already substantially used.
  • Enterprise fees, setup fees, onboarding fees, and prepaid usage packages, unless separately agreed in writing.
  • Requests submitted after the 14-day window, except where mandatory law requires otherwise.

5. Refund Method

Approved refunds are issued to the original payment method where technically possible. Processing time depends on the payment provider and your bank, and can take several business days after approval.

6. Your Statutory Rights

This policy does not limit any mandatory consumer protection rights you have under the law of your country of residence. Where those rights are stronger than this policy, they apply instead.
